OH BABA! MY BABA!

I am always busy with my school work and house work. One day, I happened to met a great Holy Man at the "Spirit of Unity" Concerts concluding day. He entered at the time of Lord Venkateswara's marriage ceremony and sat on the dias, till the function was over. I have heard and read about so many religious persons, First time I saw one, than too, great people falling at his feet.


Next event my colleagues and friends birthday. Every year I used to go to her place and wish her with flowers. That day when I went there, she told me she was going to her Guruji to get blessings. Of course she invited us (my daughter and me) to accompany her. There! the great holy man was sitting and smiling at us. When I told my daughter in Tamil to do "Shashtaanganamaskar". He spoke to me in Tamil, at once, and inquired about me and other details. First time in my life I attended Sai Bhajans. Babaji gave us Prasad and a one rupee coin and told us to preserve it. I was so thrilled and very excited and did not know why.

I started attending Bhajans regularly with my daughter, and moved further to become a devotee. I never sang a song in my life, but now I have started singing Bhajans with His Grace. Whatever I feel or think of doing is done automatically, without any effort or difficulty. Of course there seems to be some delay, but it always ends, nicely. Slowly but gradually, I found my life style has begun to change. I saw my own transformation take place - started becoming more patient, controlling my anger, becoming a good listener to others problems and I began to take interest in Bhakti.

The endless activities of Babaji are becoming interesting to see, the bundle of energy he possesses and the immaculate precision with which He works, and conducts himself with Bhaktas, devotees and public in general. Then one day I decided to accept him as a Guru - the dispeller of my ignorance and darkness! From that day I forgot all my worries and problems.

HE IS THERE TO LEAD MY LIFE, WHY FEAR WHEN HE IS THERE?
