SSE GROUP 1


Age: 7 - 8 years old.

Academic Year: Primary 1 - 2

Interesting Themes:
Duty as student and son/daughter
Ceiling of Desires
- Water
- Time
- Money
- Energy

Children are given some facts and figures to show the importance of the above factors, followed by discussion and activities.
God is One
Study of different religions and their teachings.
Swami's Childhood and Miracles
To speak softly and lovingly to family members
- Being even tempered
- Good manners
- Consideration for others
- Patience
- Change the world with daily acts of Kindness
Smile, the whole world smiles with you

Fun Filled Activities:
Passing the the Truth (Children sitting In circle and one student will pass the true message to the next student. This game is to emphasise the importance of Truth
Passing the Parcel of Love
Use forfeits such as:
-sing a song,
-tell a story about Truth
-act out the action of love, peace etc
Participation of story telling
Children will be given a certain role to play in the story.
Other children will provide sound effect and action to make story interesting

Forming groups to do small projects relating to the themes:

  1. Growing the green beans. To show the importance of water, Living thing need water.
  2. To plan on an effective timetable. Children are then encouraged to follow their own timetable; there will be a follow up discussion if they have benefited from this.
  3. Discussion on problems faced with siblings and parents. Children will then put all the problems and solution into a poster.

Each group will then act out the problem then the solution. (Role-play)
